What is Alphamoon Intelligent Automation?

Alphamoon Intelligent Automation is an intelligent document processing (IDP) platform based on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning developed by Alphamoon.

The main goal of the platform is to support the business by the ultimate document-to-document automation. After you gain access to the platform, you’ll be able to process your documents, extract data from them and easily search for pieces of information within the set of uploaded documents.

AIA helps you reduce both the time spent on document processing and the costs related to it.

Why is Alphamoon Intelligent Automation better than legacy OCR?

Legacy OCR is referred to the software that implements a rule-based system for the data extraction and classification of documents.

There are a few reasons why legacy OCR tools are inferior to modern IDP technology such as Alphamoon.

• Legacy OCR software uses document templates. If you submit a document with a different layout, you will have to support • that document’s time-consuming layout.
• AIA uses Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to analyze documents the same way a human would. AIA can find and extract the same information without relying on templates. The tool is automatically compatible with every document, regardless of its layout.
• Legacy OCR captures raw text and is not robust enough to handle background noise and documents with lower quality.
• AIA captures text, tables, handwriting, images, and signatures by looking at the data from multiple perspectives: it takes in visual information and text, their structure, and the context they’re used in.
